IntroductionKIDS MAKING MOVIES! Acting & Filmmaking classes AFTER SCHOOL for ages 5 to 17 years. Students learn both in front and behind the camera's, from writing, directing, to starring in their own movies. We show case student films at the historical River Oaks Theater at the Joy Kids Red Carpet Premiere. The program builds confidence, creativity and self-expression. Limited spots available. We offer small classes. Classes are taught by actress, producer, director, Joy Saxton. Joy has worked with kids appearing on Broadway, in major motion pictures, and on television. Students have signed with talent agencies in Texas and Los Angeles. We also offer private acting lessons for the serious actor, Girl Scouts Workshops and Birthday Parties! Our StudioOur studio is located in West University in Houston, Texas, named in Forbes Magazine as one of America's 15 best neighborhoods in America. The Joy Kids Studio is equipped with a Green Screen, costumes and filming equipment for the students to use. |
